Haryana bans Punjabi movie ‘Shooter’

The Haryana governing administration has suspended the exhibition of Punjabi film,
Shooter , with instant effect.

Till even further orders, the film shall be deemed “uncertified” in the State, in accordance to a Haryana federal government assertion issued on Friday.

“The violent written content and depiction of dim globe of criminal offense in the movie is most likely to have a destructive and adverse influence on school and school going college students as they are vulnerable to be influenced by glorification and depiction of crime and violence,” it claimed.

The screening of the movie could possibly advertise gangster and gun culture and hence, will negatively impact the impressionable minds of teenagers and youth, it added.
